Join us for a hands-on pasta making workshop designed for secondary school-aged children and their parent or guardian. Under the guidance of our skilled in-house pasta experts, you'll learn how to make fresh pasta dough from scratch and master a variety of pasta shapes and filled creations.
Teen participants will get hands-on to experience rolling and cutting Pappardelle, Tagliatelle, Tagliarini & Angel hair, plus the shaping and filling pastas like Ravioli and Tortellini. The session is designed to be fun but slightly more challenging than our Primary aged Workshop, giving older children the chance to develop practical skills and confidence in the kitchen.
By the end of the workshop, you'll take home your own handmade pasta, recipe cards, and tips to recreate the experience at home, building skills that will last well beyond the day.
Itinerary:
9:30am - Arrive to a warm welcome from our team with morning pastries, hot drinks, and fresh juice before the workshop begins.
10am – Begin your parent-and-child workshop with a fun, simple introduction to making pasta dough from scratch, guided by one of our friendly pasta chefs. Explore Egg based pasta doughs & crafted pasta shapes such as Farfalle & Garganelli. Roll up your sleeves for a hands-on pasta rolling session! Together, you'll learn to create teen-friendly pasta ribbons such as Pappardelle, Tagliatelle, Tagliarini & Angel hair with plenty of support to make it fun and achievable for all ages.
1pm – Enjoy a delicious Farm Lunch, featuring dishes from our kitchen team, with options that appeal to both teens and adults. .
2:15pm – Get hands-on with a deeper dive into rolling & making filled pastas. You’ll learn to craft a variety of shapes suited to teen learners, such as ravioli, tortellini & agnolotti.
3pm – Wrap up your workshop.

Our Parent & Child Passion for Pasta Day at Nancarrow (for Secondary aged children) is £150 for one child aged 11-16 and an adult, and includes morning refreshments, your workshop with the Nancarrow team, and a hearty Farm lunch.
