Join Emma from Hog & Tallow for a half-day workshop celebrating traditional soap making and natural skincare inspired by the land. In this hands-on experience, you'll discover the art of creating nourishing tallow soap, while exploring the benefits of locally sourced botanicals and natural ingredients.
During the workshop, Emma will introduce you to the traditional use of Nancarrow tallow, grass-fed beef fat that is one of the most skin-loving ingredients in soap-making. You'll also head out on a gentle foraging walk around the farm to gather seasonal botanicals, which you'll use to create a beautiful herbal-infused oil or balm.
Emma has been crafting small-batch tallow soaps and natural skincare since 2016. Based in the wilds of Cornwall, she creates products using locally sourced ingredients, grass-fed tallow, and homegrown botanicals, with a focus sustainability and minimal environmental impact.
You'll be guided through every stage of soap-making process with a live demonstration before creating your own batch of traditional tallow soap to take home.
