Join Anton from Raw Wool Company for a full-day workshop exploring the traditional craft of wet felting. In this hands-on experience, you'll discover how natural British wool can be transformed into something both beautiful and practical by creating your own felted soap bar to take home.
Using traditional wet felting techniques, you'll work soft wool fibres around a bar of soap, gently felting them together to create a durable, textured covering. The felted wool acts as a natural washcloth, providing gentle exfoliation while helping your soap last longer and removing the need for plastic packaging.
Choose from a selection of natural wool colours. Throughout the workshop, you'll learen abut the unqiue qualities of different wools and why natural fibres have been valued for generations.
Through Anton's Raw Wool Cpmpany, Anton celebrates wool in its most natural form, preserving the colours the sheep intended while championing British breeds, local farming and a more sustainable approach to texttiles.
All materials are provided and no previous experience is necessary.
